Table Soccer
All over Victoria, supreme athletes will soon start training, conditioning and studying each other’s moves in preparation for the biggest sports event to hit Melbourne since ’56.
You know that game with miniature soccer men attached to rods that spin around to hit a little ball on a kitchen table sized soccer field?
The 1st Annual Foosball Club Championships is coming. On the Saturday night of The Beautiful Game – A Festival of Soccer on Film at ACMI Cinemas in Federation Square, representatives from Victoria’s soccer clubs will be duking it out on the tables of fables for the chance to win a massive trophy, multiple cases of beer and the life long bragging rights of being the one to bring your soccer club fame and glory of the little wooden man variety.
Want a piece of the action? Keen to get your hands on some silverware whilst having a few drinks, listening to tunes and generally warming up for a night in town?
